We will build a deck from cedar, tiger wood or composite decking.


What is the maintenance on an average deck?
Any wood deck will need to be cleaned and treated occasionally; depending on how much weather and sun exposure it receives. Composite materials need to be cleaned regularly, but there is no retreating recommended at this time.


Who is responsible for the city’s building permit?
Any time you hire a contractor to do a job for you, that contractor is legally responsible to get any necessary permits.
