The Dillon Company, 1202 Faraon, St. Joseph, MO 64501, is a Home Improvement Company specializing in exterior home improvement products such as: windows, entry door systems, storm doors, patio room enclosures, patio covers, canvas or metal awnings & siding. Dillon Company has been in business for over 25 years and currently has 24 employees that consists of installation crews, estimators-salespersons, production manager, bookkeeper and office manager.

The Dillon Company is one of the businesses that grew out of the energy crisis of the mid-70's. However, unlike some businesses that went by the wayside, the Dillon Company has blossomed into a solid family business that has won several national awards, and now carries a wide range of products for the home. Pat Dillon is the current owner. The company was actually started by Pat's father and brother.

Like many locally owned businesses, this one was started from a garage, and eventually moved to St. Joseph Avenue, where the business flourished for 13 years. Then in 1990, Pat took a bold step when he purchased the former Stan Lucas Cadillac Building on Faraon and converted it into a huge showroom, office, warehouse, and shop.

The showroom offers the customer the opportunity to leisurely view all of the products first-hand, meet the employees and get informed answers to any question or concern the customer may have. We want to earn the customers business by answering all your questions, explaining everything as clearly as possible in a professional, no pressure consultation. The prices and project specifications will always be presented to you in writing.

The manufacturer of the products installed in our customer's home is an important aspect of the project. The performance of the products and strength of warranties is key to customer satisfaction. Dillon Company products are made for us by nationally recognized companies with the strongest warranties in the industry: in writing.

The Dillon Company has had the distinction of having three homes which they have worked on used in national literature for manufacturers. The Dillon Company has also received two Pathfinder Awards for siding excellence. Pat was one of six contractors from across the country who sat on the Bird Vinyl Siding Board of contractors.

Pat knows the hard-earned dollars invested in the home improvement products he sells are well worth it. Today we still receive those same testimonials from our customers."

At the Dillon Company, we provide the best products possible, installed at very competitive prices. We do home improvements year round. We don't do home improvements part time or hire part time employees to install our customer's projects. At the Dillon Company our products are installed only by our trained employee crews. This is important because sub-contractors are independents who answer to no one and the quality of their work varies greatly. Employee crews insure care and consistency in the customer's home. The Dillon Company is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. In 1999, Pat Dillon, served a chairman on the Board of Directors. The Dillon Company supports the Buy Local Campaign that was promoted by the Chamber a few years ago. Buying local from the Dillon Company supports 24 employees and their families, many local suppliers and their employees, and numerous community, service and charitable organizations.
